Dr. McDonald has extensive experience evaluating and treating conditions related to infection with SARS-COV-2, also known as COVID-19, and the associated spike protein. After infection, the spike protein can persist for up to 15 months in some individuals.  This phenomenon can lead to a variety of symptoms, often occurring in a cluster, which are commonly referred to as "long-hauler" symptoms. These persistent symptoms may include new or worsened depression and anxiety, loss of enjoyment for activities, decreased motivation or drive, difficulty concentrating, memory problems or "brain fog," general fatigue, excessive sleep, and/or insomnia.

Others may experience symptoms which are more physical in nature. Symptoms may include new onset or worsened joint pain, decreased exercise tolerance, gastrointestinal distress, urinary changes, visual disturbance, loss of taste, loss of smell, hair shedding, or hearing changes. These symptoms can cause a decrease in physical function and quality of life, ultimately harming mental wellness.

Dr. McDonald also offers evaluation of post-vaccination symptoms.

If you have lingering illness that is impacting your quality of life, schedule an evaluation today and begin the journey of restoring your health.
